2009-2010 VERMONT CERTIFICATION BOARD SCHEDULE OF TESTING

WRITTEN APPRENTICE (ASAC) EXAM

NOTE: Even if you meet the deadline for any of the exams, there is no guarantee that you will be able to take that exam on your preferred date if your application requires further revisions or clarifications in order to be approved. 

IC&RC WRITTEN EXAM (CADC)

An approved CADC application is required in order to be eligible to take this test.  Applications can take 4-6 weeks to be approved, and exams are ordered exactly 1 month before the exam date.  An exam will not be ordered for a counselor if s/he does not have an approved application by the order date or if the exam fee has not been paid by the order date.

Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) WRITTEN EXAM

An approved CCS application is required in order to be eligible to take this test.       

 
CERTIFICATION BOARD MEETINGS
The Vermont Certification Board meets quarterly at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Montpelier.  If you would like to attend a meeting to discuss an issue of interest to the field of substance abuse, please contact Nan Kolok at nan@vtcertificationboard.org so you can be added to that day’s agenda.
